Leon Jackson. The WINNER of X Factor. He is 18 From West Lothian, Scotland and was a Sales Assistant in Gap. Leon is an only child and has been raised by his Mum in West Lothian. His Mum has always had financial problems trying to bring him up and he is desperate to win to give them both a chance of a better life. Leon started singing regularly in January after his mum bought him an ipod. His friends were so impressed with his singing that they forced him to karaoke nights every week and he’s never looked back. Leon loves jazz and is influenced by Michael Buble and Jamie Callum. He is also very keen on karate. Leon says singing is the only thing that makes him happy. If he had not made it through to the finals he would be starting University doing a Architectural Technology course.
